Information we collect
We collect subscriber email addresses, account details when accounts ship, voluntary submissions, and privacy-respecting analytics. We do not build third-party ad profiles.
How we use it
We use information to deliver newsletters, improve the publication, respond to readers, and keep consent records required by Canadian law.
Third parties
Vercel hosts the site, Resend may deliver email in a future backend, Stripe may process payments in future phases, and Plausible-style analytics may measure aggregate usage.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent through the Daily Durham privacy contact. We respond within 30 days.
Data retention
Newsletter consent records are retained for three years after unsubscribe. UI-only development does not create real records.
Business listing requests
When you send a listing request, we store the business details and the private contact name and email you provide so our team can review the information and follow up. Private contact details are not added to the public listing. Requests do not publish automatically. Contact us to ask about a request or request removal of your private contact details.
